Thai Cooking

I figured my first blog back from my long blogging hiatus should be about one of the things I love: Thai food.  I enjoy eating it and cooking it (although I am by no means a pro).  So imagine the excitement that rushed through my veins when I found a bonafide Thai recipe website at realthairecipes.com.  It is the best website I've seen so far.  Although it's written by an American, she has lived in Thailand with a Thai family for about 3 years now and has substantial experience in Thai cooking.

Check it out, and if you try a recipe, let me know. I haven't tried any yet! (Are you thinking how I know it's truly authentic Thai food if I haven't tried it yet? Because I looked at the pad thai recipe and the ingredients: she uses tamarind and palm sugar to make the sauce.  That's ultimo Thai).

Postscript: And for those who haven't seen it yet, this is one of the best Korean Cooking Websites I've seen.

Your Word is Wise...

1 Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the LORD!
2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart,
3 who also do no wrong,
   but walk in his ways!
4 You have commanded your precepts
   to be kept diligently.
5 Oh that my ways may be steadfast
   in keeping your statutes!
6 Then I shall not be put to shame,
having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.
7 I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous rules.
8 I will keep your statutes;
    do not utterly forsake me!
(Psalm 119:1-8)
